At PASSION we believe there are 4 essential “Next Steps” for a new believer:
- Baptism - The bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first or initial step of obedience after making a commitment to follow Christ. Baptism allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Jesus. Water Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith.
- Commitment - We believe every Christian should belong to a local church and then make a commitment to that church. At PASSION commitment includes: serving, financial support, and your attendance. We offer Monthly (1st Sunday) Commitment classes where you will learn the vision and values of PASSION church. Commitment classes also help you discover who we are, what we believe and how you can play a role in the PASSION community. Commitment classes are designed for 18 years and older and are a pre-requisite for membership here at PASSION.
- PASSION Groups - PGs are small groups designed to make disciples, and build relationships with Christ together. Most of our groups meet every week at different locations. There will be a facilitator leading the discussion and will offer questions for the group to answer. The goal for all our PG meetings is to encourage you in taking these “next steps”. The meeting times and places vary.
- Serving - At PASSION, We believe that saved people serve people. God has given each person a gift to equip them to serve, so that the local church, which is the body of Christ, may be strengthened. There are many opportunities at PASSION to serve and we want you to be a part. The first step to serving at PASSION is to attend a Commitment Class. If you have already joined PASSION church and are ready to serve, stop by our “Next Steps” table to sign up and learn more.
